Sephora Becomes First Valkyries Partner To Join The Warriors Portfolio

SAN FRANCISCO – The Golden State Warriors have announced a partnership with Sephora U.S., the world’s leading global prestige beauty retail brand, becoming the first Valkyries partner to join the Warriors portfolio. Sephora will become the official fragrance partner of the Warriors and Chase Center–spotlighting the growing men’s fragrance category–as well as the first-ever presenting beauty partner of the Warriors Dance Team.

Through the partnership, Sephora and the Warriors will create exclusive digital content, including a dedicated season-long social content series that will spotlight players and Warriors Dance Team members on game days. Sephora will receive prominent placement at Chase Center, visible on broadcast and in-arena, and introduce new in-arena game features. Fans will also have access to a Sephora kiosk during all Warriors home games and Chase Center events featuring a curated selection of beauty product offerings available for purchase. In addition, Warriors Dance Team members will receive Sephora gifting throughout the season.

“This partnership marks a significant milestone for the broader Golden State organization,” said Mike Kitts, Golden State Chief Commercial Officer. “Sephora becoming the first Valkyries partner to expand and align with the Warriors not only reflects the strength and growth of the Valkyries brand, but also the shared values across all of our teams. We look forward to this partnership enhancing the experience for our fans and partners across all of our properties.”

“We’re thrilled to partner with the Golden State Warriors as their first official fragrance partner, which underscores the expanding opportunity within men’s fragrance, and highlights Sephora’s commitment to bringing best-in-class, inclusive beauty offerings to new audiences,” said Sephora U.S. Chief Marketing Officer Zena Arnold. “This collaboration reflects our commitment to redefining what beauty means, and gives us an incredible opportunity to engage with new audiences, including male fans who are increasingly embracing self-expression and categories like prestige fragrance. Alongside our successful partnership with the Valkyries, this partnership with the Warriors allows us to continue championing confidence, creativity, and community both on and off the court, in our shared Bay Area home.”

As part of their founding partnership with the Valkyries, Sephora is the naming rights partner for the team’s 31,800 square-foot, state-of-the-art Oakland-based performance center, the “Sephora Performance Center.”
